We are located on the west side of Montana.
Outside the small town of Trout Creek. A 2 ½ hr. drive from Spokane WA, Kalispell MT or Missoula MT.
In a valley surrounded by national forest, our goats free range in natural pristine surroundings.
Goats require a high mineral intake and many other nutrients for optimal health, they are very intuitive about what their body needs, so being allowed to roam freely they are able to choose the plants and forage that best meets their needs.
We are members of ADGA AGS and MDGA, we breed quality registered Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats.
Our mission is to improve the breed of these wonderful miniature dairy goats by producing goats of good conformation, having a pleasant friendly disposition with high milk production and quality.
We chose Nigerian dwarf goats for our farm because they have the highest butterfat of any dairy goat breed in the United States. While standard-sized goats have butterfat around 3-4%, Nigerians average 5-7%. The high butterfat makes the milk taste sweet and rich and is excellent for cheese making. We have found that our milk stays fresh 2 weeks or more when refrigerated without getting that "goatie taste" and, frankly, tastes just like whole cows milk but richer.
Nigerians give a surprising amount of milk for their small size. A well bred, well managed Nigerian Dwarf can be expected to produce over a quart a day of high quality milk, some even exceed 2 quarts a day. Their gentle disposition and moderate milk supply makes them a great addition for a small family..
PUG PUPPIES- we added PUGS to the mix in 2016, the pug is not your typical farm dog but this farm has always been a little "out of the box".
